Tasting notes
Sweet berry aromas complement the brambles, mushrooms and savoury spice nuances. The palate is smooth and full with juicy acidity, fine-grained tannins and a long graceful finish.Reviews
Michael Cooper’s 2021 Buyer’s Guide, 4-stars“Estate grown near Mapua, on the Nelson coast, this is typically a rich wine with plenty of personality. The 2017 vintage, French oak-matured for 22 months, is drinking well now. A ‘forward’ year, it is mouthfilling and supple, with generous, savoury, nutty flavours, showing good complexity, and gentle tannins.”
