Reviews****½ Stars, New Zealand Wines 2017: Michael Cooper’s Buyer’s Guide
“Grown in the Moutere hills, the 2013 vintage was 15 per cent barrel-aged (French, old). An Alsace style of Pinot Gris, it is weighty and gently sweet (10 grams/litre of residual sugar), with lush, peachy, slightly spicy flavours, hints of ginger and honey, and good cellaring potential.”
