This wine was produced from fruit grown on the Waimea Planes and Moutere Hills. The small crop of handpicked Riesling grapes was partially destemmed and soaked on their skins overnight prior to gentle pressing and cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting notesBouquet of citrus blossoms and honeysuckle. Full and luscious in the mouth, the fresh juicy flavours finish with racy acidity reminiscent of mandarines and limes. This versatile wine is destined to gain strength and body with cellar age.

“Balanced for easy drinking, the bright, light lemon/green 2016 vintage is light to medium-bodied (10 per cent alcohol), with youthful lemon/apple flavours, showing very good delicacy and depth, a slightly minerally streak, and an off-dry (10 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish.”
